Asus Bios Issues

Team,

The heartache continues....

My new HDD arrived and installed it to my ASUS laptop.

I still get the same message as per my last HDD:

"Cannot Load imagex 0 from SRC WIM file" (in top left corner of screen display). ERROR (in HUDE RED letters accross whole screen display) "

This error is apparently commonplace now amongst new ASUS suckers. (see link below)

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum-

No, I don't want to return the unit to Base for warranty repair yet.

Thoughts?

Can you load your image on the HDD on a different computer and just plug it
back into your Laptop
