![]() | We all know that Windows XP has a "My Recent Documents" list. This consists of a folder into which Windows places links to files that have been recently accessed. Question is - are there any duplicate places in Windows where this list is also kept - ie a clone list? Say for example the main "Recent Documents" folder is emptied out (wiped) - is there anywhere else on the hard drive that Windows stores a back-up copy of what was in this folder? |

In short the answer is No. The only place would be "Recent documents". But as for System restore, I think by memory it does restore files and programs to the date of restore. | |
