im running windows 7,,,the wife downloaded a stupid game it wouldnt open so she decided to open it with internet explorer now everything on the pc is trying to open with internet explorer,,,,can any1 tell me to change it back to normal

Click the 'Start' button... In the box type 'default'
"Default programs" should show at the top of the list. Click it & change it back there.

Why did you format the drive? Was the sector table or MBR corrupt?

., the file may start a different program,,,this will work ,,,formatted the drive cause we couldnt work out the problem,,,then this link come up but we had already started the format. When you run an .exe file on a Windows Vista-based or Windows 7-based computer
