I have uni exam on computing systems engineering and just wanted to grab some help if possible on some thigns i am unsure of.

What Is API (UNIX)?

When Linux Boots what is the read/write state of all hardrives and how can it be changed?

What is the FHS standard?

What alternative permission system is possible using the SETUID bit?

How can signals kill a process?
