| Member | I have a Videomate PCI TV Tuner T300 that seems to use a chipset driver SAA7134. My computer runs both XP and Linux, under XP the tuner has software and works well. But I would like to have it working on Linux. I have tried several programs from the package manager but I can't get any to work. If someone has advice. Please help... |

![]() | keep trying skozzy I reinstalled ubuntu 3- 4 times then tried a myth tv back end build. Most success i had was a kubuntu build with hardy heron 8.04 make sure you have ALL repositories listed in package manager and if I remember automatix installed. here is a few words my The god of Ubuntu Mr M.S. on the upcoming release 8.10 Jaunty Jackolpoe: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ub...er/000481.html . I prolly D/L and install to see if I can get my old scanner and printer to work. Might even reinstall TV card to and see how it goes will get back to you if it does. I uninstalled trhe card cause I didnt watch to much on the computer and have a HD STB anyway. TOO many gadgets not enough time cheers AA PS: Check the audio cable from card is connected to AUX in on M/B and check audio settings to see if the card is sending to right sound module :ALSA: , I think.
