| Junior Member | I'm looking for some tools that will "clean up" an XP registry. I have no inclination or need to jump in and do things manually, so I'm after some software solutions to help me get rid of some (inevitable) crud I've accumulated over the past year or so. I've tried RegCure, and it seemed to do a good job, but repeated scans failed to remove the last 2 "Empty Registry Item"s I'm not sure I trust any of the online offers I've come across - unless some one has any recommendations? Oh, I'm a 'swinging' mac-guy-so be gentle please-hence my reluctance to get 'hands-on' cheers ian |

| Member | I use PC Pitstop, My Step Dad had it as a part of a virus checker package he bought and never knew he had it, wasn't until I had to reinstall his system I saw it in the email showing his serial number, so I installed it on my computer and it done registry, filesystem, internet and anything else that can make your computer pick up speed. |
