Default XP Shutdown

Anyone know if the shutdown sequence on XP can be slowed in orer to view and read a dialog box which appears for a fraction of a second immediately after one of those "end process" dialog boxes. Very curious to see what it says.
It's so quick I can only see that it is there and it has quite a bit of writing in a very small font. No chance of reading it.
Someone? Anyone?

Check to see if the same message is in the Event Viewer, they often are...

In Start -> Run... %SystemRoot%\system32\eventvwr.msc /s

ps you should only have to type in eventvwr.msc, the rest should take of itself.

This is the offending message, I have Googled and Googled and find many references to it and many event logs just like this one but what is it and why is it now an issue on my computer And many forum questions from people who, like me, can not make sense of it and wonder if it is any thing to worry about. The link in the event log explains the event but doesn't explain exactly what the specified service ( WmiApRpl )is and does.

I guess I will file it away under "Beyond my snowy haired understanding"

Doubt your problem is with WmiApRpl, it's only an information event.

Have you tried hitting the Pause key on your keyboard? On some setups it does actually stop the PC, you may catch the message on shut down if you time it right.
