Can anyone confirm that the purple cam that telsat sell will work with a whitey and if it can be upgraded to version 2.26

2.26 firmware comes with card marriage protocol. Many have gone E17, Since you can not go back to Ver 2.21 the cam becomes useless.

It appears to be only 2.26d not 2.26b

i tried a 2.26d,from telsat,thay said it would work on whitey but it did not!,from the menu screen i can see the card details,but no pics, tried a silver same thing, there sending me a earlier version to try. but thay said the 2.26d should have worked!..

smit brand cams will not work, they need to be scm microsystems brand....
