Angry card splitters

Any one had success with these,
Tried the smart wi - kept dropping out all the time,
Swapped for the Epsilon - comes up as invalid card or stuck at smart card initialising. Using strong 4658X with purple cam.
Tried 3 different card types and no joy with any.
Minister for finance turning into minister for war.
Please help. All sugestions appreciated(regarding the splitter only)

I'm using it with a 4.1 card successfully in both my 4658x. One card shared between two units.

I have the special Irdeto Firmware version. 2.41T1 on the smartwi master box and the strong 4658x is running the latest Version:107.

I dont use a CAM. My wireless clients slides straight into the internal card reader.

The only problem I have is that at least 1-2 times a month I do have to reset the wireless card. For that I simply pull it out and put it back into the 4658x

Are you on the same versions of firmware as my setup?

Was using the same, tried in cam and slot no joy.
Swapped for the Epsilon as I had heard good reports regarding Irdeto 2.
Can't get it to run with genuine Aurora cards or others.
Thought at least Aurora sub would work V4.1 & V5.
No programming or special set up required I assume??

I found with my chucky and bob 4.1s that 2.32 worked the best. Only time I really had to reset it was when power went out or austar had rolled keys and the splitter wasnt on at the time
And when whitey came on the scene I didnt havent to do squat, because the ATR is the same all I had to do was take chucky out of the splitter and put whitey in.
Have you transferred the ATR to the clients? this may resolve the invalid card problem. But the stuck on initialising sounds like your cam is suspect, try booting the stb with no card in the cam and see if it is still in initialising, if it is youve got a dodgy cicam

Ive also noticed that some boxes work fine with an austar card or a whitey in the slot or cam, but refuse the client card, the topfield3200 does, has your strong ever accepted the client card?
