Irdeto Cam

Hi guys, hoping someone can help me with a cam problem I'm having.
Cam is Irdeto Freecamd (think its version 19 or 20) P/N 901633 Rev 1.2
and recently I haven't been able to use it. Took it out of the Humax and placed in friends Dreambox 7000 (it was working there too)
Anyway, when I got it home and put it back in the Humax (tried both slots)
it kept flashing loading cam and kept flashing but wouldn't recognize it. So took it back to mates place and same thing.
Is there anyone out there that can test for me? I can pay for postage both ways. I don't have the knowledge or guts to play around with it and it cost me about $190 dollars so am hoping it's not stuffed.

I can probably fix it for you, but it would cost you a bit more than postage in both directions. PM me if your interested in discussing it further.

Hi cwispy, I think you recommended the place I bought it from in W.A about 18 mths ago. Was working fine till recently. Anyway, any idea what it would cost me to fix it? I know that's a hard question to answer but I don't want to waste your time.
Can I send it to you for a quote and include return postage costs in case it's more than I'm willing to spend on it?

I have a laptop that updates the cam's no worries. So if you want me just to load the freecam firmware I can do that for only postage cost. But if its a hardware issue I can not help on that. Pm if you'd like me to do it for you.
