This is offered on ebay for about $70 a new version irdeto CI 2.26 cam. The people are in aussie and have a phone # to talk to. But they did not know(or would not tell) if the cam would work in a third party box with a legit card, so one could get a better working sat reciever and not use the supplied one again. I miss my em 200.

I gather you are talking genuine austar sub. Austar has done something but what? The cam won't work so save your $$$. Those guys would know what's going on and it's disappointing that they don't give honest advice.

Not all Purple/Blue Irdeto cams have the same file.

The purple ones about 3 years old are not he same (File xx ending in 0003b which could also be loaded into certain older Irdeto Cams) as say this item:-

A**ar no!,selectv,ubi,star,zee irdet* yes. this is in your old fav. emtech 200 althou, intermitant power off /on to reastablish channels on most almost dayly on most .have 3 units running here locally by me on these services,for customer review purchase,this region.all em200 purple irdet,cams ci.

Just noticed on a Sat supply site this version 3.30 Irdeto 2 cam it say it works with all version 5.3 cards, anyoneone else had play with one of these, the Sat supply site is in Aussie

I picked up one of these cams about 2 weeks ago was told buy the the owner it works with all cards, seems to work with a few channels the others dont work at all or it takes about a minute or two to get pics. Sometimes i get a E04 or E07 error with xtreme decoder XTSC 520 and same issue with strong 4800II.
Called the company i bought it from they say that cam no longer works with selected cards???
