Default I have a problem with the HDD. What do I do next?

    Hi,
I restarted my computer and it comes up with unable to boot.
I did a little investigation and looked into the bios and the sata HDD is not detected. I checked the cables and unpluged the sata cd rom and used that cable with no luck. The HDD was an existing drive running XP.

I have taken the HDD to a second computer to see if would detect it which it didn't. I have gone into computer management-disk management and it is not detected into there.Computer 2 runs IDE HDD but has sata capabilities but has never been tested so I'm not 100%.

The HDD seems to spin up.

Any ideas on the next step?

Not nesessarily, Place the drive in a USB drive caddy (any thing like ) then download SwissKnife V3 and apply.
Whenever you feel sad, just remember, somewhere in this world is there's an idiot pulling a door that says "PUSH"
