hi guys i was just wanting to know i have a aopen pc that has sdram in it i was wanting to buy 512 of sdram off ebay and i was wanting to know if it will work with my pc and that there is only one tipe of sdram

There is PC100 and PC133 SDRam. You should check what you have in the system already. Also you may want to check that the board even supports 512Mb sticks. Some older systems wouldnt go higher than 256Mb per slot. The ram often has a sticker on it stating speed and size.

when i first got the pc it had only 64mb in it and i added a 128mb stick of ram so i only have 192mb all up anyway how do i find out if my pc can take 512

You will need to find the model number of the motherboard and look it up. You can typically find most motherboards spec sheets online somewhere.

thanks guys for your help i found the model number of my pc and went on the http://global.aopen.com/ and found out that my pc will only take 256 in each slot so thanks guys
