| Premium Member | I need to be able to copy some sections of a 58 page .pdf document, but the original has password protection on it. I have a full version of Acrobat, so I can highlight text, but can't copy it. Anyone know a way around this? |

![]() | In a real pinch you can just do a screen shot or if you are using Vista the Snipping tool works a treat ![]()

Using XP.... screen shot will save as an image file (eg: jpg) and I need the text to be able to be pasted into a word document. What I really need is a way to override the pdf password protection. | |

![]() | I have some PDF documents Aus Standards I got from a university, They can only be used for a few days then turn all green and say these are not for archive storage. To get around this you select the documents in explorer and hold down shift and press enter. (sometimes you need to do this twice, closing the pdf in between) and the document opens up fine, you can print it and select it etc. Maybe you could try that on your PDF's |

| Member | I use 'PDF split and merge' which seems to work fine. PDF Split and Merge Have used it on to view Aus Standards with no problems. If you need to get images etc... try Inkscape. Inkscape. Draw Freely. Thanks Seacod |
