Audio missing from YouTube and simialr

Can anyone suggest why I cannot get any sound with a YouTube video, or for that matter any streaming type video. Downloading clips for later viewing with Media File etc seems to work OK, but not when watching as it comes in.

try installing the full k-lite mega codec pack

No audio on YouTube - fix And you thought computers were our friends

Thanks for that had the same prob all fixed now
