| Senior Member | Have A PC with the nagging WGA saying I don't have a registered version (I Don't). Does anybody have a reliable one that works. There are so many on the net that don't work. Hoping someone has one that does or can point me in the direction where I can get one. Cheers |

![]() | hmmph. I just go into regedit and trash EVERY entry that comes up when I search WGA. Also gotta look around the same entry a bit for things that relate to WGA. Then you reboot with no WGA nags. Once your back in, delete the WGA files from windows directory and subdirs. That always worked for me. ![]() |

| Member | 1: change the PID to 640 Once you do that, How? Oh yeah you need an XP VLK Key ![]() Yeah getting back to what I was saying, once you change the PID to 640 you can simply install the WGA Valiadation tool from Microsoft which then tells you that your XP software is legit and you can start to download from Windows Update. More info? Oh gees since when did Austech become microsoft tech support ![]() All my Xp machines have propper VLK (Volume licence Keys) all have PID 640 (i.e: tip look at the Product ID, it will probably be 647 ect ... that means its not a legit CD Key) nice little old hack program called VLK Generator (find it via google) from there you need to diable WAPEVENTS from the registry to then load up MS OOBE (its in the system root) and then you can change the CD Key with your new VLK key. Then its a simple job of validating WGA ... then your set |

![]() | Hehehe. It's a lot of farting around JUST to make a computer work. They should build motherboards with a flash rom section directly dedicated to an operating system. You buy a motherboard and it comes with windows XP preloaded into the OS flash, preconfigured for that hardware. Plug the bugger in and it fires up straight into the useful bit called the desktop. If they were to do this, the price of an $80 motherboard might become $100 where $5 goes towards paying for the flash chip, $5 to the shop as margin and a $10 licencing fee to the operating system's creator so you can have legit software to make it run, but no bugger has to fk around installing, registering and patching it and nobody has to buy a retail packaged CD or DVD, with useless warranty cards, holograms and all that shit. The geeks could buy the board for $90 and flash lunix onto it, while the joe shmoes could buy the $100 version with xp or vista pre-loaded ready to run. Imagine if the ECU in your car was based on the same technology as current PCs? You'd buy a new car but you can't just put the key in and drive it, the dealer offers you 9 choices of operating system which can be loaded into the ECU. One of them crashes intermittantly, but everyone has it and is the easiest to use. Costs $150 to have that one installed. The next option is the FLEET package where you can have the same one installed into all your cars. Costs $150 for the first one but each one after that costs $75 if you tell them how many you have, you can just copy the first one so they save money on holograms. The other options are for complete geeks, are absolutely free but every time you change the tyres or anything else on the car, you need to strip the engine down and rebuild it before re-installing the software into the ECU. |

| Member | tip: copy this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Cu rrent Version\WPAEvents press start on the taskbar select RUN paste the above into the search bar then click on WPA Events folder, then in the right hand box select WPA Events, change the reg value to something else (tip you only need to change 1 value) save the new value setting. you now have disabled XP Windows Protection Agent From there copy this next link %systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a it will now open up the WINDOWS OUT OF BOX EXPERIENCE (OOBE) system box where you can change the CD Key from NON LEGIT (i.e.: PID 641 to 648) to LEGIT (PID 640). Make sure you select CHANGE CD KEY VIA TELEPHONE, THIS WILL THEN ALLOW YOU TO ENTER THE CHANGE CD KEY OPTION then you simply enter the new CD KEY that you got from VLK Generator (sorry i cant provide it to you, you have to dowload this yourself) select change Product ID. Shut down the computer restart it, press start, then select RUN and enter this next link into the search box and press ok %systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a you will see a pop up that says your copy of XP is valid (or something like that, from memory) then you have a few options. either download a non hacked version of WGA from Microsoft, or download a hack WGA validation app, lets say from MyDigital Life websife LOL, dam i am doing tech support for you ![]() install either version, it will say your XP is legit sogtware because you have a PID of 640 WHICH IS LEGIT from XP Pro Corporate Edition (yes that is the loophole that microsoft cant shut down) from there you can simply then update your Microsoft Software using Windows Update. Its not that hard to do and once its down , its done and you wont get then annoying WGA screen ever again. Cheers |

| Premium Member | Hi M8, Just download the programs from the link below. RapidShare: Easy Filehosting It will find your existing licence key. There is a keygen to generate a new licence key. Then you can change the licenced key to the keygen one. Cheers
