Default Bluetooth GPS

Gday all,

Just got a Bluetooth GPS (BTGP-38) and am having trouble connecting it with my WM5 PPC (Eten M500).

It says that it it paired ok after setting up a seriel port but TomTom just does not see the GPS unit.

Any tricks that could help me would be appreciated.

I installed a GPS test program to the PDA to see if the GPS would work with the PPC and it does so it seems to be a problem with the TomTom software.

Anyone had a problem like this?

Ok.... Just got it working....

I told the TomTom software that the GPS device was a wired GPS device with a baud rate of 9600 and it worked.

This surprises me as its a wireless bluetooth GPS unit
