A big arsed phone that is also a tablet
I was in non looking mode between programs when an ad appeared on the screen for a 'PHABLET' and it eventually managed to penetrate my feeble grey cells to prompt me to ask,
What the PHU-PHU-PHU-PHU is PHABLET ?????
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

It's a phrase to describe half smartphone and half tablet mobile device or also known as hybrid phones. It's bit bigger than the size of a regular smartphone with a touch screen sizes between 5 and 6 inches that offer portability of a smatphone e.g. Sony Xperia Z .
SWMBO has a 9.4" phablet and she loves it. Now, in context, she is largely bedridden, so does not need to carry it around, she uses it hands free most of the time and most of the time it is her "companion". Has her music and a couple of movies on it. it is also her diary and alarm clock, which reminds her what time to take her meds. It also has her medical history on it which makes it so much easier when she gets carted off to hospital. The medical staff at her main "hospital" reckon everyone should have one. I use a smaller one in a Galaxy Note 2 which replaced my destroyed Note 1.
I have a note 3, and to be honest it was the best decision i have made , phone wise

*Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.
