Under the petrol cap cover, no labels writing E10?......
From here (yes i know its 2011) http://www.kia.com.au/article/OWNERS/Kia-Service---FAQ
Can I use fuel-containing ethanol in my vehicle?
Kia approves the use of petrol with an Ethanol content of up to 10%. (E10) Kia warranty will not cover failures or faults due to operation on fuels with an Ethanol content greater than 10%.
Discontinue using petrol blended with Ethanol if any kind of drivability problem occurs.
Thanks Godzilla
There is no E10 or other info or indicators saying ethanol blended petrol is OK to use around the cap or anywhere that I can find.
From the URL you have posted I would say it should be OK to use. It may be any idea to put a quarter tank of ethanol blended petrol on top of a half or 3/4 full tank and see what happens.
If there is no problems I could then keep increasing the fill amount at one time until it becomes a full tank amount at one time.
Many Thanks again
Mate, just put a straight 1/4 of a tank in and see how you feel about it. :)
One thing you need to understand though, even though the fuel is cheaper, your vehicle will use more E10 than petrol.
E10 needs more fuel by volume than petrol to give the same energy (combustion).
