Tevion DVD player with USB input

I recently bought a TEVION dvd player with USB slot (Model: TV007) but the remote has stopped working. I opened the back of remote to change batterys but found rust has eaten the inside. Original battery's were in remote when i bought it from Aldi.

I have tried to contact Tevion customer support but cannot get thru. The DVD player costed me $39 so i was wondering if someone has a spare remote or i should go buy another player from Aldi's if they have any left.

Any help / idea's

Grab a universal remote from Aldi , they work with Tevion codes ( which are supplied )

If it was new when you bought it then take it back, if not buy another and check the batteries in the remote this time. A universal remote would probably cost more than the player.

aldi dont always stock them. im trying to buy one but i have to wait for the next time they have them again. last time they had hdmi dvd players with usb for 59
