    Default changing moteck

    can any one tell me how to reverse movement on motech example east ,west, to west , east as it is set up for european not aus .it would be much appreciated. it s app 4 years 0ld hh motor for 1.2 thank you

    I don't think you can mate, unless you turn the Arm upside down but then you would have to reconfiger the whole setup again.

    Does It have a Northern / Southern Hemisphere option any where in the settings? (in your STB)?

    Instead of entering your latitude in the STB as xx.xxx South, use xx.xxx North.
    That's how I setup mine. Works nicely

    I did consider this with my first one, the possiibility is to reverse the polarity within the motor. However it was then found that a few STBs and positioners accounted for this. So was decided to leave as is.
    Later, I did notice,several years ago, one supplier advertising them unique for the Southern Hemisphere. This was debunked as an advertising gimmick. They were exactly the same.
    I'd hate to guess how many thousands are sold in the Northern Hemisphere, for every one sold downunder. It is our Cross to bear.
