Fox iq help
Hi, iv borrowed an iq for my beach house where i have a fox dish with dual lnb setup but with only a single cable feed to the wall. Iv changed the lnb settings manytimes but i still get (no sat signal recieved error), Im not interested in recording or any of the fancy stuff i just want to be able to watch the channels?any1 know what the problem could be. Thanx

When you changed the LNB setting did you make sure you scrolled down and saved the new setting on the fox box. Also are you sure the lnb you are using is working or even if it happens to be universal

i saved the settings on the box, the LNB works fine as i have used a third party box to check, so i went into the lnb settings and noticed that it was set to Uni-1 10600.
if you put your 3rd party box in this room (where the IQ is to go) can you get TVSN home shopping channel?
If you can you have signal and the LNB is set to the right settings.
Is the IQ you have borrowed, a box from a cable or a satellite set up?
Is the box you have borrowed active?

i can get fta on the 3rd party box and the iq is sat and active.
do you get the help menu on the IQ box?
If not i will assume you have your LNB settings incorrect.
Try & do a hard reset on the IQ box.
Press the back & select buttons together for a few seconds
