Default Foxtel to announce new IQ today

According to yesterday's Fin Review anyway, Foxtel will today (19th) announce a new version of the IQ.

Be interesting to see the specs.

I was thinking more HDD capacity, but there is a thread over at dtv with people swapping in their own HDD's, and it seems the IQ2 can't handle more than 1TB.

Maybe they never thought to charge as Austar has done to change over to the Mystar2 and now they want to put their snout in the trough.

I should be fair and say Austar are not charging for a Mystar2 stb, its an ADMINISTRATIVE Fee, totaly different thing said the unelected and unlamented 'I want to be PM' Mr Kim Beasley.
