Default Live Formula 1 via satellite?

    Hi

Does anyone know if we can get Formula 1 live via satellite in Melbourne, Australia?

I have both C and Ku band dishes fully motorised, so all I need to know is the satellite name and channel data.

    regards,

    Aus355

OneHD is all you need now. You can get it on Palapa D though but pic quality won't compare.

Unfortunately no, they don't have the rights to it.

If and when Foxtel start retransmitting ONE HD, then we will see it.

Cool. Once MCSA goes, then I'll swing around to Palapa D.
It'll be a long time before I get to see One HD here

F1 isn't in true HD, it'll be upscaled.

For those who have both sat and terrestrial, whats the difference in time on the pictures, are they both displaying at the same time (live) or is there a few minutes/hours time shift?

I remember years ago watching it on Star sports on cband and Channel 10 broadcasting that it was live at 10pm but id finished watching the race at 7.30pm on sat.

I would think there wouldn't be much in it because of the live timing on the F1 site which I have used in the past with both telecasts.

The satellite broadcast is about 10 seconds ahead of terrestrial t.v.

I noticed that when i flicked from Global t.v. to One HD terrestrial.

Also Global t.v. has alot more ads than One HD.
