Ok a couple of questions about sub card?

Hi Guys

i have got my sub aust@r card working via I.R with a phoenix card reader and 2 dreamboxes via mgcamd

it works briefly for maybe 15 mins then locks up then comes good again a few minutes after that ..repeated pattern

Am i waisting my time because of surflock or can this work?

If it's a latter card then yes you're wasting your time due to the surf lock. And by later I mean 5.3 and 5.4 cards. I'm not sure about 5.0 or 4.1 but in saying that I have a 4.1 and it's not happy in a phoenix and IR Server but is ok in my UltraPlus twin tuner.
The 5.4/5.3 etc are ok in single tuner boxes stand alone but try in twin and they don't work. surflock strikes again.

I've been meaning to try my 4.1 again with another reader as I purchased another a while back and hoping this might work.

Step up your IRServer to feed one client

That client will be Fausto, then reshare from there

Wouldn't the surflock be on the number of requests (ecms) in certain amount of time? Ie anymore than 1 every 10 seconds lock...?

If so proxying it with Fausto isn't going to help.
