I've heard thru the grapevine from a semi reliable source that whitey2 may be in for some turbulence by weeks end.. Can anyone else confirm ??

well my fully legal aurora card no longer works for any channels since fta disappeared

I remember the last time a few months back went auroa went fta, and did notice that 3 of the channels were still encrypted, I was worried that my 3 goldies & v5 legit would miss an update, so all I did was leave the 2 stb's on one of the channels that was still encrypted, this time around it was 7central & abc sa and all was fine, but I realise that it could anyday now that the goldies get KO'd.............

Ted...keep it in for 2 or 3 hours. My V5 is updating very slowly. Nearly all my authorised channels started out as E30 (2 started out as E16), then after about an hour I had half of the E30's back, but nearly all the rest were suddenly E19. Now after 75 mins the E16's have come back and the E19's have started to come back as well. I'd love to know what the hell Aurora were trying to do.

Haven't tried to update a goldie yet.

UPDATE - all channels on the V5 back after 1hr 40mins. Then threw a goldie in and had all pics after the usual 15 seconds!

left legit aurora card in machine overnight - on an optus channel and
woke up this morning and aurora card was back to life

my guess because this card is in same box as another card - box needs to be on a channel for the right card to get the update hit
