| Senior Member | Yep, That's why testing back to base is very important, also checking the next day to ensure the test timer comes though. The amount of ness 5000's that i go to, that don't test is amazing, i'm surprised that control rooms keep accounts that don't test online. V dodge. |

| Member | Because at the end of the day all they do is pass on a service request to the customer/installer/comany and say its not doing a dialler test, therefor they are absolved of any and all blame... If I ran a control room, if you didnt fix it within 2 weeks, I would put the account on hold, because honestly, it doesnt take that long to get out to clients to get things fixed... Most of the time ![]() Red |

| Junior Member | I worked on a 5000 the other day. The customer produced a clear plastic sleeve containing the original user manual, original install manual and .............. wait for it ............... the original sales brochure. Needless to say, getting them to upgrade will be a mission!!

| Senior Member | Yeah, There are heaps of clients with all their orig dockets, sales brochure, every service docket and the install cost lol That's a good client, maintains their system, care's about it e.t.c I had a 5000 a few months back, the tamper spring on the PCB was False alarming, they did not want to part with the panel just yet so i soldered the back to the pcb to seal the tamper. Haven't been back lol. |
