changing user code on NX-16

Hi all,

i want to change the user code on my alarm system but im a bit confused by the manual.

There is only one number to disarm the system which is the one we punch in whenever we come home. There are no other users or usercodes.

in the manual, it says that "A master code must be used to change and add user coded." the default master code is user code one [01] with a code of 1234.

my question is, is the master code the installer code or is it the code i put in when i get home?

Any help appreciated.

master code = master code
installer code = installer code ,

both codes can change the master code, though,..
