Default Help with wireless outdoor kit

    Hi all,
im very new to all of this, but long story short. have got a nice letter from council about dog barking too much which i know isnt true. i wanna put up a outdoor camera so i can see whats going on for myself. at the moment i have the good ol video camera looking out the window, but it cant get any noise because its inside.
i know which people have put the complaint in and know that they stir the dog up (have been told from other neighbour, but isnt enough for council)

    SO

wanna set up that can record to SD card or hard drive of some sort that i can back up on disc everynight or however often it will need. kit will need 2 cameras. i am after something cheap thatll do the trick, this way when council comes back with another complaint i can give them proof that either the dog doesnt bark that much at all or that his being stirred up.
ive checked sites like jaycar and what not, but im not sure what i need to look/ask for.

    cheers for any help.

Unless the rules are different in your shire for a noise complaint to be issued by the council the Ranger has to stop outside your house and hear the dog barking for an excessive amount of time.
I've been on the over side of the fence so to speak and it took a couple of tries before the Ranger arrived when owners were not home. Only reason they followed it up was fact on my second attempt I got signatures from 5 neighbors around the property in question that it was continuously barking for 3-4 hrs straight when owner not home.

Mid range digital recorders have 1 or more audio inputs. Cant think of any budget ones that do.

Have you thought of setting up a mic on pc for recording and running a long enough cable to get outside?

Not sure what you mean by cheap but you could try something like this IP camera..
