    Default Help with alarm ID

    Hi,

A few months back we moved into a brand new townhouse that already had a security alarm installed. We had some of the builders come back today to fix some of the defects but none of them are sure what the alarms system it is.

i beleive that its a AUSTECH because after spending a good part of the day on google i found a post in this forum that help me reset the flashing lights on two of the three zones, by using * 1 #.

    Attached is a photo.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Cool

No photo attached - sounds like a C&K

    Hosting a picture

Ok , firstly we will start with adding a photo .

Scroll down to the quick reply box and you will see " Upload your images to ImageShack".

Click on the browse button. Select the photo from your computer. Then click the " Host It " button and the photo will be uploaded to Imageshack's server in a seperate window.

Once uploaded , copy and paste the " thumbnail for forums 1 " code in to your post. This will display a small " thumbnail " of your photo that others can click on to see the image in its full size. This is the quickeast and easiest way to do it and is the recommended method by us. It provides members with the opportunity to look at the image without having to do it in full size.

As Watchdog stated the system is a C&K.

An alarm has obviously occured on your premises and the flashing represents alarms in memory. *1# clears the memory. The other flashing LED is more than likely a zone you a tripping whilst at the keypad.

Ok, have attached installer and user manuals. Picture may be different on the user manual but the functions will be the same.
