Hi guys
I'm pretty new to Insight but have finally decided to start to learn. My problem at the moment is that when I upload from a panel that has been programmed by the codepad it doesn't seem to upload the area names or the zones. When I check via the codepad it's there, but I can't get Insight to upload them.Is there something I'm missing?

Was a bug that was around for a while. Used to give me the s**** when I forgot to create the system area default zones 1st before enrolling.
If your just playing the latest Beta versions are on their forums, a few changes that are nice.
May save some hassle latter too since Insight Light and the Insight Installer have a totally different databases.
Btw, In the client version there is a lot of extra functionality, ie multipanel linking, tenancies, DVR integration etc. Its worth doing the 1 day course if you intend to sell to clients.

This problem popped up from time to time in the 3.2.x family of releases, was a real pain in the bum, no matter what you do you cant get it upload certain things, Area names, some input names, User Types... very very odd stuff...Originally Posted by Privatteer
