Yep, have to go along with these sentiments.
I know of a couple of control rooms (security companies with there own control rooms) that use them.
One tried to talk me into pushing them to prospective clients (of course they would provide the monitoring).
From what I've seen, the systems seems ok from the control room end but i haven't really had anything to do with it so can't make an informed judjement.

I've seen it in action a few times, its okay.... expensive but okay, I just dont like the idea of having another panel, with radio pir/detectors with another communications path, with another set of costs, with another set of problems..

But again, I havent seen to many customers willing to pay for it... as we all know with cameras, they are NEVER pointing in the right direction or at the problem when the problem occurs.

Videofied Panels are easy to install. But like anything you need to know what you are doing and understand how the thing words. The guy's who sell it offer good support. They are great for anyone who got a problem. In 2009 they sore 49 arrests due to this alarm system.
