Default Can Siren Be Disabled during Stay Mode

    hey guys,
as the title goes, can the external siren be disabled if the alarm goes off while in STAY mode.

I have a solution 16 alarm. basically i dont want to be waking the neighbours, but still have the internal screamer go off.

ANd if so, which code do i have to enter?

    Cheers

ohh and one more question, i changed the amount of time the panel beeps/waits for the code to be entered when a sensor is triggered while in stay mode, however i cant remember which code/code i changed. can someone remind me as i want to increase the time.

its going to have to be rewired for different output, reprogrammed, and for a tech to do it :-)

    Cool

Look at location 669. You can disable audible alarms in stay mode but I'm not sure if it disables the o/p relay that you peizos are usually wired to. My guess is it doesn't as it is not classed as audible o/p in software but as simply a relay o/p that your peizos happen to be wired to. Simple way is to try it - only involves one program change & then try it.

im not sure what outputs the solution 16 has as i work with crow mostly, they have 4 outputs. your going to have to wire external siren into say output 1, internal siren into say output 3, then are going to have to program output 3 to come on duren an alarm, program the reset time, and output 3 to not activate during stay mode alarm.

but this is prob a job for a tech...

Be aware that in the still of night, an internal screamer can still be loud enough to annoy neighbours. You may want to look at installing a smaller piezo buzzer etc. near your bed, to wake you.

Of course if it's an infrequent event then I wouldn't bother.
