    Default Rauland Nurse call systems

Anyone else had the joy of working on this equipment? What are your thoughts??

There isn't a lot of info out there for techs who's company doesn't sell it. It'd be interesting to know how to program these systems, how the parts interconnect and such. I saw one installed at a client's site today.
Make love to a technician today!

I worked on the Monash Medical Center refirb of Raulands gear a few years ago.
Not sure about 2010 but 5 years ago it was very propritery and fiddly to make sure the connectors are making contact; they are not RJ connectors (except on the desk annunciators) but like a pcb connector that you self terminate to solid cat5e.

Each end device is cabled back to a bus module, each slot in the module controls a certain call state (emerg, staff, nurse ect)

You can then have your handsets call to the admin phone set via the bus system and this will ping on the annuciators also.

As far as P.C programming goes I know little but from what I have seen its not too difficult very similar to Xacom or Austco (in concept not interface)

    hope this helps a touch!
