For the people who do not know why this image is included, well it is installed upside down.

    Cool

I can just picture the installer cursing Optex for the stupid design with the grub screw at the top. "What the F#@K were they thinking" he would be mumbling as he tried to do it up.

Looked like a dueltech looking down at a water pipe in there as well. The microwave gets a good look at the passing turds.

Below is a fresh picture where I was called for a no comms error. Telstra Tech was on the site a few days before me and had the audacity to say the fault was the wrong socket being used in the Panel. The panel originally had a 611 socket wired up in mode 3, which he changed to a 4Pin RJ12 Socket which he incorrectly wired as well. This is a picture of the MDF which he did inspect but neglected to do anything with but change the Alarm Panel Phone Line Socket.

Installed this way to reduce alarm activations, right.

This reminds me of the time a "experienced comms technician" rang me to ask which port of the KR-1 panel he needed to connect to.

After five minutes I asked him to email me a photo of the KR-1 panel.

    As in KR ONE.

    Reminded me of this.

    Pardon my ignorance,
Why wouldn't the alarm sensor be installed in a higher position?

All my sensors are at high points ie not mid-wall. Sensors I've seen are usually in corners.

Lucky they didn't still a ladder.

And bss904, I'm good, but i'm not that good. (Ok you win, I'm that good)
