Default Security of hello.com

Can anyone throw light on just how secure hello.com really is? I read that they encrypt all chats and file transfers with 128-bit AES - but who is to say there isn't a backdoor in their system that allows easy decryption of your files - after all, THEY supplied the AES keys to encrypt with.. or at least it would appear that way, and he who holds the key holds the answers!
