Default Antivirus 2009 - bringin' the lulz!

Has anyone seen this beauty yet. It looks like it's only been wild for a few days/weeks. It's an update on the Antivirus2008 spyware that so many people have been infected with.

Antivirus2008 was annoying. It looked like the windows security center and told you of the many infections you had (but really didn't) and was harder to get rid of than herpes (so I hear, never had herpes before).

The new Antivirus2009 takes this to a whole new level.

As you can see, these creatures that make this crap have gone to a new level. After this fake bluescreen (btw, your resolution changes to 640x480 for half a second before putting this up), it 'reboots' windows. I'll take a shot of it next time it happens on this customer's pc.

Beware. I don't know if this one is treatable with anything short of a clean install. This particular customer was naive enough to give these people his credit card details to clean his pc.

Seen it on a few Comps. A Spybot S&D and AVG scan seems to get rif of it without to much fuss. I Havnt had to remove the hard drive and scan externally as yet... but haven't seen it do the fake blue screen as yet..

wat we need is, a xp install that takes 10-15 min after format
+ a auto install cd with all basic programs

Google "TinyXP" or torrent it.

Excellent. Fully cut down version of XP without all the sh*t like IE, media prayer and all the other nebulous bloatware etc. Have yet to make it blue-screen, tried but failed.

Check out Ryans vm link below , using there intergrater plus updates and addons makes installing xp a breeze , you can also add your favorite progs and even have all your drivers Intergrated on the one cd or dvd (depending on how much you put into your disc)
I also use Nlite which is a fabulous tool and there are heaps of addons to use or just make up your own.

Cheers
