    Default Akai Ctvl-34s

    This unit has blown components, Diode position D619 Capacitor C642 and a resistor position 611A cannot ID any of these components as they have been burnt, any help would be greatly appreciated

    D619 - BA159
    C642 - 10nF / 2kV
    EFIL says there is a mod for this supply. Replace IC601 with STR6456, change D613 to RU4B. Check IC603, Q601, ZD611, R608, R609 and R660 and all small diodes. According to this, R611 and R611A are 0.22 Ohms and connected in parallel.

    lol I have a old 1993 TV FAULT FIXER by Efil it has over 3000 faults

    If I put all my Efil's together i might get near that but then again I know one way to fix that, hint, hint LOL

    Was talking to the dude that knows how to do this, need his help cause just started work at a new place so I dont know where anything is. He reckons will have to post you a cd or something cause too big for email. I'm no computer guru so if you know a better way, let me know. Is there a way to do it on Austech? Never get the time to look and find out...........
