It is a real solid box in every aspect. Could be handy tool when you can not find your hammer. lol

well my U4 is running like a dream now have kodi 17 and the no limits build on there and it works a treat
best thing about it is I don't have any issues with it.

I don't use the sat side very often but it works when I want it to.
FTA works ok with no hassles either
For what it is I don't think that I wasted my money on it last year

Have finally started using mine,.. after the anomalies below,.. have now upgraded firmware to 201611021848.

I have 2 queries:
1. Box seems to come with Kodi 15.x Isengard, how do I upgrade it ? Thought it was via the PlayStore, but when I search for Kodi it can't find it ?
Reason is that the aspect ratio is not always set right for some media I watch when played through its media player - Kodi always gets it right. I've gone through all the various combinations in the Video > Aspect ratio settings area, but it still seems to want to stretch some media files I have vertically - I expected letterbox 16:9 would give me what I wanted. (Video format on the remote only seems to change the output modes 1080p, 1080i, etc,..)

What values do others have it set to here ?

Another reason is that I get (well used to?) audio-sync issues when watching media through Kodi, dunno why - having said that, I think the firmware upgrade to 201611021848 may have sorted it - will take a closer to look tomorrow.

2. When in 'File manager' mode and looking for media on the network - it displays what it finds in an alphanumeric order, can you change this display order? to say something like date ?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Download Kodi either in the browser or PC, then manually install it.
