Chinese GPS has padlock and key on screen with Chinese writing!
Hi GPS experts! The kids turned on my trusty windows CE igo car GPS and it starts to boot and then comes up with a padlock and key on screen with Chinese writing! You can't select or type anything! Does anyone know what's happened and how to get it going again? It's been running great for 5+ years!

Post a pic mate. I know someone who can read chinese. Maybe a translation can help
try a hard power cycle, disconnect the backup power wire as well...
check sd card and clean contacts...
does unit have a remote ? some have a remote child lock function...

It has a batter internally. Not sure how it all comes apart.
