DM800 HD with dvb-c

I happen to have a DM800HD that is for cable. Is there anyway I can use this in Australia to obtain FTA channels?

Replace the tuner with a Sat tuner. Or by FTA channels do you mean DVB-T? In that case you could get one of those tuners instead.

That's what I am unsure of. Will i need dvb s or dvb t?

If you want to receive FTA sat channels.....DVBS-2
If you want to receive FTA terrestrial channels....DVB-T
