Just used files from this link to update my Chrysler 300 to latest. It still had 2012 maps it came with.
Was a bit annoying a couple of weeks ago when I was in Perth, none of the new roads were on it..
No official update available from garmin or chrysler, F#$K em......
must be a lot of pissed off Chrysler/jeep owners around wanting updated maps, really only matters in the city though....

I will definitely update my Kl jeep Cherokee when my warranty finishes.
Won't affect your warranty, it's just a map update......

New to the Garmin stuff always done TomTom, but Is there a post or thread that explains how to load these into the uconnect?
Thanks
Just put the garmin folder in the root of a usb stick and it will update.
they are a bit picky with brands of stick.
takes a while.....
So many questions, what about the "LOCKED" files and which files to DL for the uconnect?
image files need to be unlocked.
you'll need:
asr folder - download all asr files you can find.
jvv folder - download all jcv files you can find
gmap3d.img (unlocked)
gmapprom.img (unlocked)
all in a folder named 'garmin' in the root of a usb drive.
plug it into the usb port connected to uconnect and it will find it....

Does it take long for the map update to install in the car?
Done as you said and I'm getting an error "map is incompatible with the navigation system"
