    Default Word 2010 document

A couple of days ago, I accidentally spilled coffee on the laptop. After that it worked normally, without any consequences. I installed a couple of applications for computer testing, checked it, all right. Today I has opened the file in Word 2010 and has seen the message - can not open doc files or paradox.
Other files are opened without problems.

Tell me what could be wrong?

So are you saying you can open all other word documents except one?

Your post does sound suspiciously like two-part spam... you know the type... a first-time poster has a problem... then later, another first-time poster has the solution to the question.... I use xyz.... here's a link.

If this is the case, I can assure you both of you will disappear from Austech membership faster than a fart in a fan factory.

    Let's hope you're legit.

Any suggestions from you. Do you know what to do with such situation?

My suggestion is to answer questions that are asked to try and help you.

My first suggestion would be to follow mtv's suggestion.

Second suggestion is; if the file is .doc, try open with Notepad. Right click on document/open with/Notepad.
If .docx then troubleshoot with document opening using Microsoft Office - open Document in compatibility mode.
If still unsuccessful download , should open anything.
    Should be easy.
    Cheers, Tiny

The exact text of the error message would also go a long way to indicating the issue
can not open doc files or paradox.
is absolute rubbish, NO programmer worth his salt would write an error message like that.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Tell me the reason may be what?
