Default Legalities and all that cr*€#p

Can anybody illuminate me on the laws surrounding the issue of CCTV in a public place?

I've heard so many differing views.

If it's not conceiled, must you display warnings?

If it's standard, obvious CCTV, is there any obligation to put up signage?

    Any clear advice appreciate.

In a public place where you could not reasonably expect complete privacy, there is nothing preventing the use of CCTV in those areas without signage. The laws vary slightly from state to state but broadly speaking that's where it sits.
