Default Restoring User settings & System settings on UltraPlus X-9200HD.

    Hi all,

I have an UltraPlus 9200HD, and recently, it seized up and returned to default settings when it rebooted. For some reason, I lost everything, including all my user data and system data. (User and system configuration which too me ages to originally set up) I have since restored the box back to factory settings (again) and have had little success getting my channels back (mainly vast)
I do however, have files saved on my pc with system data and user data (.sys and .fdu). Is there a way to restore this back to the box from a flash drive?

Also, which firmware version is the most stable to use at the moment? There are so many on here.

I tried looking for an answer via the search function on this site, but it's been unsuccessful as the search feature on here is very frustrating.

Any assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Huge thanks in advance.

If you have backup files then copy the .sys and .fdu files to a USB stick and load like you do firmware to restore everything. I've never heard of data being wiped with any firmware version.
As for firmware, you can run with the last posted. What version are you on?

Thank you for your reply, Leroy. It's much appreciated.
The firmware that's currently on the box is v2.11.70.

It's been quite a long time since I've had to upload anything to the receiver via USB. If I put the backed up files on the flash drive, do I have the device switched off, then boot it up like when doing a firmware install? Will the receiver see the info on the flash drive or do I have to go into the System Recovery menu and choose one of those options? I can't remember which one it is either.

Also, is 12647 30000 V the correct frequency to search for the vast channels? I can't believe I don't remember how to do any of this (including the correct frequencies to tune). I must be getting old.

Thanks again for all your assistance.

No probs! turn the box on with usb stick in or not. When usb is detected you can then load and select the files to download. Try scanning that TP with network set to 'on' and hopefully pics up only the VAST channels for you.

    Cheers,
