Hi to all,
I am wondering if anyone can help me out with my GPS unit for Mitsubishi Lancer 2008. I actually bought a unit from US which came off from 2015 Mitsubishi outlander.
I was thinking all Mitsubishi GPS units are similar and it won't have any issue on my car ( Mitsubishi Lancer 2008 VRX) however; it turned out to be exactly opposite and most of the electronic installer that I have spoken to having no idea how this system should work on my car.
Actually, wiring harnesses of the car are plugging properly at the back of the unit but it doesn't display anything on the screen.
If anyone of you have any idea or experience please let me know.
Thanks

Most GPS Units have to be matched to your cars vin number only Mitsubishi dealers can do that. It won't be cheap good luck.
What does it mean it doesn't display anything? Do you mean no power and the unit is dead?
i can give you connections pinouts for Mitsubishi head unit if you want it. I guess if you let us know what exactly you bought - model number at least I can try to help you out.
I'm sure they are a can bus device
XCRUISER HDSR600HD twin sat and terrestrial receiver $OOS *
XCRUISER HDSR385 Avant - sold out$OOS UltraPlus DVB-T and DVB-S2 tuners $49 Remotes $OOS
If it's the unit i think it is there is a gray 8 pin connector that also needs a B+ on pin 4 the top right locking tab up. It's a battery power for the CPU.

Thank you so much for everyone who replied to my post. I managed to take a few photos of the actual harness of the car and unit came with the car as well as the new unit I bought for the car.
Could anyone look at them and suggest me what could be the best possible solution for the installation?
Here are the photos;
Yep read my post about the gray 8 pin connector
The main CPU gets it power from it

Hi guys,
Anyone knows where to get the wiring diagram for the above navi unit?
Hi shack khan
This may help
The connector i am talking about is C-108 it is also the rev cam input connector.
Google this part AX-MITSUCAM as it looks like it will get you the plug you need or try the wreckers.
