Default InnerRange Integiti - Double Hit PIR Issue

    Hello,
Firstly let me say a great forum and I think just the place I have been looking for. Google pointed me to a thread regarding an InnerRange issue.
Unsure if anyone can help me but am hoping there is someone about who can.

I have an extremely automated house and initially worked with InnerRange on beta testing the Integriti (5000) as I leverage their API and Automation extensively. I have had their system about 3.5 years and overall it has been very reliable but I have an issue. Initially I had a 12 month trial for helping InnerRange of their Insight software but today this has expired and I can not justify a licence.

In my house I have 36 PIR's and they are my eyes, they drive actions on my PLC (eg auto heating / cooling, power off / on, lights off / on, actions when people arrive and so on).

Anytime anything occurs on the Integriti the serial stream is parsed by my PLC and I depend on this information to

About 12 months ago my Integriti started throwing a weird error code. I could arm zones via automation (RS232 / API) but not via a terminal. In the end a power-cycle fixed it.

How ever this powercycle lead to a few issues such as door reed switches not being listed in the review. I fixed this via the Elite panel. But here is my issue to which I would be grateful if someone could help me with.

Now before my PIR's list in the review which is transmitted to my PLC the PIR now requires two hit. What I mean by this I need two long detections versus a single detection before the power cycle.

An example below is of what shows in my review (coupled with my PLC updating an internal variable)

    Alarm Activated on Kitchen PIR (A...............)VARUPDATE:094786E72B600730000C87 200000001007470750001141400032602240E2900010001000 00000000000000000000000000000131211111300450101000 F120811101411E7093C00005005050505013319001172C8385 F1E0C00000000010009.

How this manifests in my house an an example is when you walk in to rooms you need to walk around a heap to trigger power / lights and its really annoying.

I do remember some setting in Insight to enable a double detection.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

    Thanks
    Shane Baldacchino

This appears to concern a home security system.

If this is so, it would be better placed in the Security Alarms section of the forum where security system installers will see it and perhaps respond.
