Default Debian Jessie - How to set up WiFi?

Normally I use a WiFi router but there are times I want to use the phone's hotspot.

    ATM:

I can click and connect to the WiFi router.
To use the phone's hotspot I have to go through the Password for root> password for WiFi network palaver.

    Better:

Click to connect to the WiFi router, OR
Click to connect to the phone's hotspot.

    Ideal:

Automatically connect to the WiFi router, and then when needed
Click to connect to the phone's hotspot.

    How to please.
If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?

    Most people have this
You can also have Auto for Router and Auto for Hotspot

    Depends what your client is
