    Default Rosetta & Philae

Dropped my space probe and it fell into a crack.
Yes I am an agent of Satan, but my duties are largely ceremonial.

An absolutely incredible feat that while it looks like a failure, its far from it.
Much no doubt will be learnt from what happened as the craft attempted to make a secure landing and what to be aware of in the future because not every landing will be on a table top smooth place.
Despite where Philae landed, according the the article it still managed to function for a short period.

I gather recent studies of other similar objects have given a better understanding of their composition and that should help any future landings if any are proposed.

Here the old adage of its not the fall that matters but the stop that causes the problems certainly applies.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

It's always the sudden stop that causes problems. I think it's bloody incredible that that they even managed to find it!
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
