LG TV - No Daylight Saving Time

I have a LG Plasma 50PS80ED that I have had for 7 years - works pretty well and has always changed the time in the TV with daylight savings time (ACT) changes no problem.

With the change to daylight saving time yesterday the TV has not changed - should be no worries - just tell the TV the correct time etc - not so.

In the setup menu you go into "clock" and the only selectable Item is the State you are in - you cannot change the time, minutes, even seconds - the time zone is locked into the state (in my case +10 for NSW/ACT) and cannot be changed seperate to the state - as there are no states are further east than NSW another state (+11) cannot be selected.

So - any ideas on how I change the time in the TV to the correct time. As a said never been an issue before.

Change the channel!

If I go to say channel 9 my TV displays the correct time, if I change to ABC the clock changes back an hour, if I go back to channel 9 and it changes forward again.

Some of the channels haven't changed their clocks yet and it seems my TV at least sets the time by whatever channel it's on?

It's a real PITA because if I set a reminder for a show on ABC and I'm watching another channel (on a different time), it reminds me about the ABC show an hour late!

I recall it was like that last year too.

Thanks but got the same time on all channels.

Try a factory default reset.

You'll have to scan the channels again.
